How does Invisalign Teen work?
Using a revolutionary technique, Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners which gradually shift your teeth towards a straighter smile. Where traditional braces use metal brackets and wires to shift teeth into position; Invisalign uses clear custom made aligners to achieve the same result. Over the course of treatment the aligners are changed approximately every two weeks, gradually pushing teeth into a more aesthetically pleasing position.
Perhaps the best feature of these clear aligners is the fact that they are fully removable meaning you can still enjoy your favourite foods, brush and floss and enjoy social events without feeling self-conscious. It is important to note that the success of the Invisalign treatment is heavily dependent on your willingness to wear the aligners for a minimum of 22 hours a day, this can dramatically influence the final result and time frame you will be required to wear them.
